Last year was a record year for the Volvo brand, with its all-new 90 Series models driving sales to a best-ever 534,332 units pushed globally. While 2017 is far from over—although we’re getting there—the Swedish automaker is on track to eclipse that thanks to the introduction of the new XC60 and the continued success of other vehicles.
It comes as no surprise that one of the best, new off-road wagons comes from a country that’s predominantly forest. We’re talking about the 2017 Volvo V90 Cross Country, which was born and bred in Sweden—a country known for its natural beauty. When it comes to enjoying that aesthetic, this new wagon provides a remarkably lavish lens in which to experience it.

The XC in Volvo's XC60 stands for "cross-country," high implies this a crossover wagon that can go anywhere. However, last year's model was front-wheel-only. This problem has been rectified for 2016, and the all-new Volvo XC60 received high marks from Motor Trend in a recent review.
