  • 2016 Floatzilla!

    The 7th Annual Floatzilla is a paddlesports festival that takes place on the Mississippi River and its backwaters. Floatzilla attracts thousands of individuals and their crafts. The event is a celebration of paddlesports, and features group paddles on the Mississippi (including locking through at Lock and Dam 15), paddling for all ages and skill levels, live music, local food vendors, and nearby camping. 

    All attendees gather at 2:00 to take a group photo of the largest gathering of canoes and kayaks on the Mississippi. Join us for Floatzilla 2016 to celebrate paddlesports, and we'll try to bring home a new world record while we're at it!

  • Leukemia & Lymphoma Patient Blanket Donation

    During Subaru Loves to Care month this past June, McLaughlin Motors provided blankets and messages of hope to patients undergoing cancer treatment at Unity Point Trinity. Visitors and employees shared personalized messages of hope to patients, which were delivered alongside blankets to provide comfort and warmth as they continue their fight against cancer.

    Celebrate the 4th ANNUAL EASTER EGG SCRAMBLE 5K RUN/WALK on Saturday, March 26, 2016. The start/finish will be in The Historic Village of East Davenport, Iowa where you will run/walk through Scenic Parks that overlook the The Mighty Mississippi River.

    All attendees attempt to break the Guinness World Record for largest raft of canoes and kayaks. To date we haven't broken the record, but sure have FUN trying. Join us for Floatzilla 2015 to celebrate paddlesports, and we'll try to bring home a new world record while we're at it!
