It's almost 2013. You know what that means: another upcoming North American International Auto Show. Already, all of us here at McLaughlin Volvo are excited to see what the Swedish automaker we cherish so has in store.

The big question on our minds is how it plans to revamp models such as the new Volvo C30, C70, S60, S80, XC60, XC70 and XC90. As we don't want to take up too much of your precious time today, we'll focus on the S80 luxury sedan.

Compared to the 2013 S80, available at our new Volvo dealership now, the revamped model headed to the North American Detroit Auto Show is said to feature updated wheels, side-view mirrors, exhaust outlets and a new rear bumper. According to whisperings among auto aficionados, there will also be a difference in front-end sculpting. This is expected to vary across geographic markets. For example, S80 sedans destined for China will likely feature a different fascia than those destined for the U.S.

Many details surrounding the face-lifted Volvo S80 will be confirmed after its Detroit debut. Be sure to stay tuned to our Volvo blog for updates. And remember, if you have any questions about the 300-hp 2013 Volvo S80 sedan (with available Blind Spot Information System and Intelligent Driver Information) in the meantime, you can always contact McLaughlin Volvo online or at 866.982.1024.
