Volvo XC60 Gets Facelift, Does Some Testing

I spy with my little eye, something luxurious and stealthy zooming through the Northern Swedish snow. What could this camouflaged black beast be? Why, it's the new Volvo XC60! Swedish automaker Volvo knows a thing or two about creating safe all-wheel drive systems that can stand up to freezing temperatures and tackle just about any weather condition, and they've certainly been perfecting this idea with the stealthy new Volvo XC60.

The next Volvo XC60 is receiving some styling tweaks for its mid-life facelift. Though the edits aren't very radical, they do include changes to the vehicle's front fascia, which will receive the brand's new signature design. Along with this new stylish upgrade, the new Volvo XC60 will also feature new engine choices that were previously developed for the Volvo V40.

So, when can you plan on seeing the vehicle without all its edited part camouflaged? Well, we expect the brand to show off quite a few new Volvo models at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show in September, and the new Volvo XC60 could be included in this lineup.
