Here at McLaughlin Volvo, we're quite partial to the luxurious XC90 and its world-first safety features and semi-autonomous technology. We also love having a choice between an available 316-horsepower T6 Drive-E turbo and supercharged engine, and a 400-horsepower T8 plug-in hybrid electric engine. We know there's a lot to like about the XC90, so we love when it gets noticed.

This morning, it was announced that the XC90 has been chosen as a finalist for the 2016 North American Truck/Utility of the Year award.

“The all-new XC90 represents the future of Volvo,” said Lex Kerssemakers, president and CEO, Volvo Cars of North America. “We are grateful that NACTOY judges recognize how significant it is for consumers, the industry, and for us.”

The North American Car and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) awards are designed to identify the best vehicles in their class. Instead of coming from a single media outlet, the awards are based on the analysis of more than 50 independent journalists in the United States and Canada.
